With an episode highlighting sideways fun, you'd be correct in assuming big horsepower makes an appearance in this episode. Ignition kicks off with the 550-hp Jaguar XFR-S roasting its rear tires as it makes its way around the figure eight, followed by the out-going BMW M3 Coupe, and another Jag, the bonkers XKR-S GT. Aston Martin got in on the action too, with the V12 Vantage S, as does the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series. The Pagani Huayra and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray also make a special appearance. Lago ends this episode of Ignition with the 2014 Chevrolet SS, which will help kick off the show in the New Year, and with slow-motion shots of some of the best drifts of 2013.

Ya know, I enjoy drifting as much as the next person ( gender neutral ) and I realize the skill involved, I've done it enough myself, But can we get back to REAL driving when testing cars? Its getting passe'.

Funny how the Chassis of Camaro, Viper, Corvette and Mustang have gotten so great, you can barely get a drift out of them.

@Brian Anthony CoxWhile there is plenty of tail out action in car test videos, the recorded Figure 8 times and lap times are certainly not achieved while drifting all the way through corners.  While it is very fun and to some heroic to go around a corner in a cloud of your own smoke, it is slower.

No harm done in them enjoying a little drifting action while testing the cars.
